Voting rights for all Afghans

According to Afghan constitutional law every Afghan has the right to participate in elections under conditions mentioned below. With the petition we demand the implementation of this right. Everyone has natural rights, which need to be preserved. In a democratic country like Afghanistan the voting right is such a natural right. The Afghan law prescribes that every Afghan is entitled to vote if the person

1. Has already reached the age of 18
2. Holds the Afghan nationality
3. Does not lose his or her political and civil rights by a court
4. Is registered in the electoral register

But how is the real implementation?

The sad truth is that the majority of us Afghans does not have the opportunity to participate in elections. We are deprived of our rights and our voices are silenced.
